The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) is going viral, not with a virus with stories, PRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang said on Thursday during the celebration of World Red Cross Day.

During the event, the PRC encouraged staff and volunteers to share their Red Cross Stories or stories that recognize the efforts of the organization’s volunteers to help in times of need.

Among the guidelines is that the stories should come together with a photo that complements the story, according to the PRC.

The essay should be written in English and must have at least 700 words but must not exceed 1,000 words.

Top 100 stories will be published and launched on December 5 this year during the International Volunteers’ Day Celebration while the deadline for submission is June 30. More details can be found on the PRC page.

The sharing is stories is open to all staff and volunteers of the Philippine Red Cross.

They could be sent to the email address
