Val Balana’s 73rd birthday with relatives and friends PDF Print E-mail

Retired public elementary school teacher Villarmino “Val” Balana celebrated his 73rd birthday last May 13 with close relatives and friends at the family residence in El Paso Drive, Canelar Moret.

Val’s wife Pilar Asuncion Balana (also a retired public school teacher), only daughter Minette and  grandson Bil Philippine Eliz helped in welcoming the wellwishers during the early evening birthday party.

Among the well-wishers were officers and members of the El Paso Homeowners Association led by outgoing president Romeo Mantilla, who was in the company of wife WMSU professor Nerissa, and incoming president retired Col. Joselito Bernardo.

There were also co-retired public elementary school teachers who came and joined Val’s party. Among them were Mr and Mrs Felimon Calunod, Wil Climaco, Teresita Galang,  Erlinda Coscoluella, Armanda Aquino, Daniela Asuncion with husband Wil, Pilar Cuaresma, Cristy Delano, Cely Anastacio, Ramon Tan, Bebot Sayam, Mr and Mrs  Guillermo Carido, Gay Babaran, Tony and Remy Ching, the Tapia couple and Mrs Nacional.

The party would not have been complete without the presence of Val’s  brothers and sisters in law, namely: Nancy and Reuben Lim, Noymie Coyme, Remedios Asuncion, Bobby Asuncion, Bobong Asuncion, Nonong and Vivian Asuncion (who took most of the photos during the party) and cousin in law Bong Bue, who acted as the emcee.
