Yacub said a press conference will be held on November 16 at the Garden Orchid Hotel city. Letters will be sent to media outlets through the Zamboanga Press Club.

For the information of the public, the conference of the Royal Ladies  is a historic one because this is the first time such gathering of Royal Ladies willbe held in the 100 years history of the Sultanate. The conference aims to accomplish the following: To foster commitment of the Royal Princesses to build peace and promote the general welfare of the “Ra’ayat of the Bangsa-Sug” of the Sulu Sultanate;to encourage the Royal families of the Sulu Sultanate to unite and embrace their royal legacy and responsibility in preserving the Sulu beliefs, customs, and traditions as followers of the Islam Faith.

Zamboanga City was chosen as the venue for this historic gathering because this city is the most unique city in the whole country; it hosts a diverse culture, living in harmony and peace and above all as the most Noble City in the whole country because many Noble Muslim leaders had tenaciously preserved the good relations between the Muslims, Christians and Lumads as one family for generations, Yacub explained. — GCCPBA- Media Group
