UZ graduate school to hold socialization, induction PDF Print E-mail

Universidad de Zamboanga Graduate School will hold this school year’s Socialization and Induction Program at Celebrity Hall, Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City on September 4, 2011 at 4 P.M.with the theme: “UZ Graduates:  Catalysts in bringing world top managers.”

The new set of officers of the Graduate School- Supreme Student Council (GS-SSC) passed a resolution requiring all students under the graduate school program to attend the said affair, the purposes of which are for personal development and professional growth.    95% to 100% participation is expected by GS-SSC. These graduate students are to be acknowledged by the newly elected GS-SSC President, Mr. Arnel Balang Hajan, School principal of Tandung Ahas National High School, Isabela Division in his welcome address.

The presentation of graduate students  are to be done by the following program coordinators; Philosophy of Education (Ed.D), Doctor of Education (Ed.D), Master of Arts in Education (MAeD), Master in Library Science (MLS) by Dr. Amelinda D. Montero; Master in Public Administration (MBA)  and Master in Business Administration (MPA) by Dr. Andrea T. Titular and  for Master of Science in Criminology (MSCrim) by Dr. Margarita S. Short.

Seven program advisers namely Dr. Mercedes A. Bejerano; Philosophy of Education (Ph.D) Dr. Nur N. Hussein; Doctor of Education (Ed.D) Dr. Rosemarie T. Santos; Master of Arts in Education (MAeD) and  Master in Library Science(MLS), Dr. Andrea G. Titular; Master in Business Administration (MBA) Dr. Alhadzmar A. Lantaka; Master in Public Administration(MPA),  and Dr. Margarita S. Short; Master of Arts in Criminology (MSCrim),  will present the newly elected class officers while the newly elected GS- SSC are to be presented by Dr. Nur N.Hussein, GS- SSC adviser. The highlight of the evening’s affair will be the induction of officers by Hon. Rogelio “Gerky” L. Valesco Jr., City Councilor of Zamboanga City (District 1).

Col, Treasurer — Norma F. Foronda, Auditor — Ronaldo D. Fabilane, PIO Internal — Emie G. Mondejar, PIO External — Julius E. Pareja, Project Manager — Diomedes D. Ladaga Jr. Peace  Officers —  Mario R. Lafuerte Jr. Jaime R. Camacho III, Susimo T. Sarmiento and Board of Directors — Ed.D. Naser P. Elang and Victor Y; Lloa, MAeD Joseph C. Luania and Vicdel B. Mojares, MBA: Charles A. Ducallas and Divina M. Vinluan, MPA: Al-Hazeel H. Salasain and Sitti Raha T. Jainul, MLS: Emelina C, Tuazon and Ma. Beliza E. Araneta. 

Mr. Roberto Crisostomo, outgoing GS- SSC President, will turn over the key of responsibility to the newly elected GS- SSC President Mr. Arnel B. Hajan, who will then deliver an Acceptance Speech immediately thereafter. The GS-SSC- PIO Internal, Mrs. Emie Gatab Mondejar, School Head of Tagasilay National High School is tasked to introduce the guest speaker: Councilor Valesco.

The GS- SCC President Mr. Hajan, to be assisted by the GS- SCC Vice President Internal  Mrs. Cundo, Dean of intructions, Mindanao Autonomous College in Lamitan City, will present the plaque of appreciation  and token to the guest speaker.

A Pangalay dance is to be rendered by a Doctor of Education student Mrs. Murada M. Danial, Principal of Diki Elem School, Isabela Island District and a presentation number by all academic programs. Dr. Bashruddin A. Ajihil, Dean of Graduate School will deliver a forwarding message. The singing of the University Hymn will be the finale of the affair. Dinner and socialization will follow. A musical extravaganza and parlor games will give more chances for these future leaders to know each other better.  The affair will be run by the two gorgeous emcees Mr. Vicdel B. Mojares and Mrs. Regina B. Morales, both MAeD students.
