Commander Ondos N. Sahdin, spokesman of the MNLF-Nascom, Task Force Mindanao, yesterday criticized DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo for not including his name as one of  the aspirants for appointment to ARMM OIC positions.

“Why is it my name not included as among the aspirants... that’s unfair,” said Ondos, who is former deputy mayor of Tipo-Tipo, Basilan, in a press statement.
Ondos said he is aspiring to be appointed as either OIC governor or vice governor to properly represent the Moro National Liberation Front in the regional government.
However, Ondos said, in the event the ARMM elections will push following the Supreme Court decision which stopped the implementation of a law that synchronizes the ARMM polls with the 2013 national election,  he will file a certficate of candidacy for OIC governor or vice governor.

He said if he is appointed or elected OIC governor of ARMM he will use its funds to put up livelihood projects for the poor people, and not to spend it for personal gains.
“I am God fearing,” said Ondos, adding that President Noynoy Aquino should appoint an honest and not corrupt people for the positions of OIC governor and an vice governor.

If appointed or elected, Ondos said, he will negotiate for peace and unity between the MNLF and the MILF.

The MNLF spokesman thanked the GRP and the MNLF panels for signing the Sept. 2, 1996 peace agreement “for  lasting peace in Mindanao.”
Ondos is also a consultant of Basilan Gov. Jum Akbar.
