LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “… The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him…” (Proverbs 23:24, the Holy Bible).

PNOY GOV’T CLUELESS ON HOW TO HELP STUDENTS: Malacanang is again promising the heavens and the stars to some 100,000 Filipino students who are in danger of dropping out of school because the funds for their collegiate education that come from the junked pork barrel allocations of lawmakers are no longer available for their schooling.

Malacanang is saying these students need not worry because the Aquino government through the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is doing something about this. The phrase “doing something about this” is the key to understanding the fact that, at this point, the Aquino government has not really done anything yet to help the students.

This particular phrase means that the Aquino government is still clueless on what it should do to help the affected school children. The only thing it has clearly done now is to direct the Commission to do something, but even the CHED has not done anything yet. Well, that is the way things are done under the Aquino government since 2010, and so we need not really expect anything concrete from its officials, right?

CHINESE INVASION AND OCCUPATION OF RP COMPLETED LONG AGO: My wife has a clear view of why China and its officials are not hesitating one bit in their drive to take over much of South China Sea (renamed West Philippine Sea by the Aquino government as the stand off with China started to peak about a year or so ago), even to the point of recently putting up a Chinese airstrip and a Chinese school for the children of its military officials.

She said that the Chinese are very much aware that about 95% percent, more or less, of Filipinos are of Chinese descent or have Chinese blood in them so that Filipinos will never really put up any fight against them, because they are our “compatriots” anyway. Then, our top government officials and wealthy businessmen are all Chinese, too.

So, the Chinese will never really be considered as “invading” and “occupying” the Philippines, should they do so in the near future, because through their own citizens who have come here and made good fortune from the Philippines, such “invasion” and “occupation” have already been carried out and successfully completed a long time ago yet.

FOREIGNERS TO RAVAGE RP? In response, I could only quote to her this following part of the Christian Bible, from its Deuteronomy 28:49-52: :The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the ends of the earth, like an eagle swooping down, a nation whose language you will not understand, a fierce-looking nation without respect for the old or pity for the young. They will devour the young of your livestock and the crops of your land until you are destroyed.

“They will leave you no grain, new wine or olive oil, nor any calves of your herds or lambs of your flocks until you are ruined. They will lay siege to all the cities throughout your land until the high fortified walls in which you trust fall down. They will besiege all the cities throughout the land the Lord your God is giving you…”

I also quoted to her an earlier portion of Deuteronomy 28: The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower. They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them. They will be the head, but you will be the tail…”
