Oh, this plunder case against Vice Pres. Jejomar Binay is more interesting than the plunder cases against Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, and Sen. Bong Revilla, because it’s a common knowledge that these three accused belong to the elite group, meaning their backgrounds show they are well off. While VP Binay would always say he came from a poor family!

I’d been listening to the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing chaired by Sen. Teofisto Guinggona, with Senators Allan Cayetano, Antonio Trillanes, and Sen. Koko Pimentel, as members. I ponder upon the plunder case against the Vice President, because if he isn’t guilty, then, by all means he should attend the Senate hearing where he can take his oath to tell the truth in defending himself. Meanwhile, he hops from one city to another, denying all the accusations and say it’s politically motivated, and that it’s just a demolition job to smear his name! In my personal opinion, his non appearance in the Senate Blue ribbon Committee means guilt! The only way he can salvage his name is when he appears personally to answer the accusations under oath, and not his lawyers.

I sympathize with Antonio Tiu, who is being pinpointed to be a dummy of the Vice President, because I think he is only a fall guy, the receiving end of the scam implicating Jejomar Binay, regarding the 350 has land in Rosario, Laguna. Little by little, the truth is coming out which is staring at our own eyes. During the hearing, we learned that the farm land allegedly owned by VP Binay is under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, the reason why the land titles can’t be transferred to whosoever bought the lands from the beneficiary farmers, who were wondering also why the land titles are still under their name. This also explains why Antonio Tiu can not produce the 150 has title which he said he bought for his Agri-tourism business. Poor Tiu, he too will be in hot water, because it’s illegal to convert farm land for commercial purpose. All indications show that VP Binay is the owner of the lands, as testified by former VM of Makati, Ernesto Mercado. If this is his doing, then I can say VP Binay is small but terrible!

This is the big question I’ll throw at him……..If he came from a poor family, and depending only from the salary….let’s say as a government official, beginning from being a Councilor, Vice mayor, then Mayor, then up and up,, until he was elected as Vice President of our Country, would it make him so very wealthy just receiving the wage of a government official? Can all members of his family run and win during elections if he doesn’t have money to splurge, and now, we are aware, is now a Binay Dynasty! His wife and children, and himself are now holding high positions in government. Gosh, Binay should make his appearance to explain himself about the Rosario Property, the building which was supposed to be a parking lot in Makati, and the Science High School Building which is said to be overpriced. Please explain yourself Mr. Vice President…to once and for all erase all the doubts!
