LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life…” (John 3:16, the Holy Bible).

CHRISTMAS MESSAGES THROUGH THE YEARS: May I present to you some of the Christmas messages we wrote about in our years as a columnist for this newspaper and all the other media outlets we have. I am amazed that the messages are united in one and the same thought and idea, and it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus in the most appropriate way possible: that of accepting Him as God and Savior.

Please read on, and savor the true meaning and gift of the season. To all those who believe, everything would be joyous and merry. To those who have not been gifted with faith, my prayer is that may you find this gift this year, and live a life of a believer henceforth, worthy of God’s blessings, guidance, and protection, here and in the hereafter. Merry Christmas, folks!

“CHRISTMAS 2010: PASSPORT TO HEAVEN: As Christmas 2010 comes upon all of us, we must remember once again the true meaning of the event—there is Christmas because God gifted us with the only Way to a life of eternity in heaven, even if we have greatly sinned against Him. The question to ask now is: are we now assured of going to heaven, or not yet?

“CHRISTMAS MESSAGE: My Christmas message? John 3:16 of the Bible: `For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life’. Try repeating this over and over again during the holidays and see the power of God coming upon you. Merry Christmas!”

“CHRISTMAS STORY: ACCEPTING JESUS AS GOD AND SAVIOR: This is not to discourage those who are now furiously celebrating Christmas 2013, but, all of us must take time out to pause and consider: why are we even remembering Christmas every year? Because of the extra money brought about by bonuses? Or of the new clothes, new toys, new acquisitions, and other new material possessions?

“Partly yes, but then, in the mad scramble for these material blessings, almost all of us seem to have already forgotten that we are celebrating Christmas because it is the greatest evidence of all that God dearly loves us, so that, to save us from the penalties due us for our persistent sinfulness, He Himself came down from heaven and already paid for those sins by his crucifixion and death.

“He Himself did this so that no one who will accept Him as God and Savior will ever have to go to hell, but will have a chance to live in Paradise with Him, for all eternity. This is the real message of Christmas, and this is the message that we should all be proclaiming and telling others—that God so loved the world He assumed human form, teaching us that His name is `Jesus’, to allow us to be with Him in heaven despite ours sins.”
