As classes opened for school lear 2011-2012, the Zamboanga City High School-Main is permanently placed in the hands of a competent and amiable administrator.
The newly installed principal is Dr. Feliza I. Munar who was recently conferred the title of Doctor of Humanities during an investiture held at Perlita Hotel, this city. She was the principal of Maria Clara L. Lobregat National High School since 2006.

Dr. Munar rose from the ranks, starting as a classroom teacher at ZCHS in 1970 to Master Teacher, Supervisor and Principal IV at ZCHS.-West in 2004 and Lobregat NHS in 2006. She is highly trained for proficiency in teaching and school management locally and in foreign countries, the latest of which, China, Turkey and Singapore.

The position was left vacant upon the retirement of Principal Dr, Arlita Tubongbanua in November 2010. In concurrent capacity Supt. Dolores Alcantara acted as the OIC.

As a school administrator. Dr. Munar has the vision to come up with a splendid governance through dynamic management by acquiring more facilities and improving all relevant services in the school. Faculty members are encouraged to pursue professional growth and development for the betterment of the school.

All thrusts and programs of the Department will be properly fulfilled especially activities that can bring honor and prestige to the name of the school.

Gladdened by mutual understanding, Dr. Munar keeps her motherly closeness to her subordinates and listens to them.
She believes in— he who listens shall lead the journey to success.

Dr. Munar is happily married to a retired police officer Gabriel and blessed with six children.
