“Patience with others is love, patience with self is hope, patience with God is faith.” — Adel Bestavros

Saadi said, “Have patience; all things are difficult before they become easy.” Patience is a virtue and I am one person before who lacked this one. Before, when I wanted something, I would do everything in my power to get it; never would I wait for others who prefer to linger or stay behind until some makes the move before acting.

Others say, the key to everything is patience – but for me this patience  eats up my time and delays my action because it makes me wait and stay put. Today, I have learned the essence of being patient. I have known that patience can give me more time to think of a good or better decisions to make; it helps me find the right thing to do at the right time and best of all, Patience has made me more critical and observant of the things going on around me.  It has helped me understand a lot of things which I thou7ght were useless or undesirable; and has taught me to turn them into useful and desirable ones.

Many of us may still be short r out of patience; it is because we never took the time to try doing it – and if we do, we will discover the many things we have missed or even lost in our lives be cause we have not learned to be patient.

“If you are patient In one moment of anger, you will avoid one hundred days of sorrow.” — Chinese Proverb
