Congratulations to the  35 participants from different restaurants in the city who availed of the free seminar workshop on Community -Based Kulinarya sponsored and organized by the Dept of Tourism IX in cooperation with the city government of Zamboanga.

The mentioned event is part of the capacity building programmes being offered by DOT to tourism stakeholders.Here in our city, around 12 restaurants sent in their direct staff to attend in such an interesting workshop.

Among the topics that were lengthily discussed by Chef Ram Villaluz were inventory of dishes, meal management, food and safety handling and budgeting.Meantime our participants had fun during the second day of the scheduled event as they did the hands on cooking.

Our resto partners during the workshop were; Bar code, Cecile’s hotel and resto, Palacio del  Sur, Chowtime (that offers local yummy food), Sunflower resto, Vista del Mar resort and recreation center, Kape Zambo, Haisan, Mano-Mano, Alavar’s Seafoods resto,  ATOA y tambien Family Fried Resto.!
