LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me…” (Exodus 20:5, the Holy Bible).

PNOY HAS THREE PRESIDENTIABLES IN 2016? Vic Somintac, the Malacanang reporter of DZEC 1062 kHz who is my partner in the program “Tambalang Batas at Somintac” (aired daily Mondays to Fridays, 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.) in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, has an interesting item about Press Undersecretary Abigail Valte which tends to firm up suspicions that President Aquino really has three (3) candidates, not just one, in the 2016 presidential elections.

In our episode on January 12, 2016, Somintac disclosed that Valte is now the full-time head of the media department of Liberal Party presidential candidate Mar Roxas, even as she was (or still is?) a part of the legal team headed by vice presidentiable Sen. Francis Escudero which has been and still is working furiously to firm up Sen. Grace Poe’s status as a natural born Filipino citizen, so she can continue her presidential run.

Then, Somintac also claimed that Valte, who remains as press undersecretary of Aquino, also maintains a close relationship with Vice President Jejomar Binay, because she is his goddaughter. Our listeners reaction: this unique relationships of Valte with the three presidentiables is happening only because it is allowed by her boss, the President, who really foresees no problem with Roxas, or Poe, or Binay winning in 2016.

FREE LEGAL AID TO VICTIMS OF RUDE DRIVERS: Friends are asking me what they could do to get back at taxi (or even bus and jeepney) drivers who are rude, who collect much more than the standard fare rates, and who are part time hold-up men, or robbers, and sex offenders. My answer: sue them, criminally and administratively, and don’t agree to any compromise later, or to any offer of apology.

Sometimes, drivers (and many other Filipinos in fact) will only realize their mistakes and their bad dispositions and evil characters if they come face to face with the reality of being thrown in jail or losing their capacity to earn. I therefore strongly urge victims of these drivers to charge the offenders in court with cases like grave threats, grave oral defamation, or even coercion.

To start the ball rolling against erring drivers (and others) by the filing of cases against them, I am willing to sit down with the passenger-victims, note down what the drivers did to them, prepare and then file the appropriate affidavits in court and in other government agencies, for free. Those who are interested to sue, they can get in touch with me at the numbers and email address listed below.

BAD PARENTS, BAD CHILDREN: Have you heard people complain about the lack of discipline among young people nowadays? Many are won’t to say, “children are really very different now compared to the children of yesteryears”, every time they see young girls and boys misbehaving, committing mischiefs, or even engaging in crime and criminality.

The question really is, how come young people seem to be getting more bad after every generation? At present, even children who are still barely able to walk and talk are already capable of, and are actually already, spewing crisp invectives, in a manner that indicates they have been so used to verbal curses even at their young ages, or even when they were still in their mothers’ wombs.

Why is this happening? Because the parents have been bad mannered, and thoroughly lacking in discipline and good manners themselves, while they were young,  and even now that they have begotten their own children. If parents would like their children to be disciplined and good mannered, then the parents must strive to be disciplined and to have good character first. Otherwise, their children would grow up just like them, devilish, and bound for hell!
