LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “… For we are members of his body. `For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church…” (Ephesians 5:30-32, the Holy Bible).

AND KNK MEMBERS ARE BLOOD KIN OF THE CHRIST: One of the most profound teachings of the Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (AND KNK, or the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church pertains to its members’ being blood kin—not just ordinary relatives—of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior who is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The doctrine is that once a person becomes a member of the AND KNK by following the process established by the Bible on how he can become a child of God, he gets united with Jesus in His holy flesh. Ephesians 5:30-32 talk about a physical union taking place between Jesus and someone who becomes a member of His body, His Church.

This physical union transforms the body of a sinner into a body of forgiveness and of power, because the body of the sinner is changed into the body of Jesus. The sinner who becomes a child of God no longer has a sinful body, because his body is already that of Jesus.

TRANSFORMING THE BLOOD FLOWING THROUGH A SINNER’S BODY: Now, if the body of a person who becomes a child of God is transformed as the body of Jesus, would Jesus still allow the formerly sinful blood of this person to run through his veins? Would the body of Jesus, which is transformed as the body of a formerly sinful person who has become a child of God, still allow sinful blood to flow through it?

The answer to this question is very clear: no, Jesus will no longer allow even a drop of sinful blood to still flow through a body which has already become a body of Jesus. What kind of blood will now flow through the body of a person who has become a child of God? Certainly, it would be the blood of Jesus already!

There should be no mistaking that fact: once a person becomes a child of God, his body becomes a part of the body of Jesus, so that only the blood of Jesus would thenceforth be running through the veins of that body. Now, if the blood of Jesus is the one already in the veins of a person who has become a child of God, how would this person then be related to Jesus?

UNITY IN THE BODY AND BLOOD AND SPIRIT OF JESUS: Jesus and this person who has become a child of God would be blood kin, since they already constitute one flesh and one blood. This is the reason why members of the AND KNK call themselves “children of God blood kin of the Christ”. Truly, based on the Bible, a person who completes the process by which someone becomes a child of God not only becomes a child of God.

That person also becomes a blood kin of the Christ. It is by virtue of this blood kin relationship that, as Ephesians 1:7 and Hebrews 9:14-22 are saying, that man is redeemed from sin. Further, it is because a man has become a child of God blood kin of the Christ that the blood of Jesus continually cleanses him from sin, marking him out, through the Holy Spirit, for Paradise in eternal life.

It is for this reason that AND KNK members do not treat themselves as mere brothers and sisters, for being brothers and sisters connotes “separation” from each other. Because AND KNK members believe that they are part of the physical body—the flesh—of Jesus and that only one blood runs through their veins, the blood of Jesus, they are one and united in all respects.
