SQUARE POINT

BY JACK ENRIQUEZ

He was here in Zamboanga City sometime until March 2003 when he graduated Master in Business Education (MBE) at the Ateneo de Zamboanga university fourteen years after he came back to take the helm of the City Schools Division Office from OIC Supt. Pedro Melchor Natividad. He was also conferred Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Studies by the same institution.

He is no other than Felix Romy A. Triambulo who relinquished his post as OIC Schools Division Supt. in Zamboanga Sibugay. The 57-year-old high ranking school official has been hoping from one division to another inside the Zamboanga Peninsula to share and put to action his expertise in school management and educational leadership, such as in 2007-2008 in Isabela City; 2008-2011 in Dipolog City; 2011-2013 in Zamboanga Sibugay; 2013-2015 in Pagadian City; and 2015-2017 in Zamboanga Sibugay.

Mr. Triambulo who comes from Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, is a man of work with strong determination despite of the many obstacles and trials lurking down the road. Perhaps he was molded as a rock psychologically after he was saved from a heart like the swaying bamboo in the wind. In his career as a leader and educator, his life is decorated with triumphs and successes but he is too humble to overlook or undermine his fellowmen. Married to Flordeliza Napigkit with four children, he lives in prayers for he knows that his glory belongs to God who guides, enlightens and strengthens him every minute of his life.

Anywhere in the peninsula, the City Schools Division is also facing several problems in order to be able to accomplish the mission and vision of the Department of Education not to disregard the peace and order problem. Hence, these serve as challenges to the OIC-SDS in his new assignment here in the land Zamboangenos who are so concerned with the education of their children.

From the first day he reported to office, Mr. Triambulo is ready every inch of his career to perform his assigned tasks and give his best for the benefit of each and every child in school. I will never fail the Zamboangenos, he assured with a smile.
