LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you...” (Isaiah 26:3, the Holy Bible).

QUESTIONS FOR PIA, MIRIAM & BONGBONG ON RH BILL: Pia Cayetano, Miriam Santiago and Ferdinand Marcos Jr. should really explain why, in their desire to push the passage of the Reproductive Health Bill, they would be willing to divert billions of pesos in government funds which should be used for roads, bridges, schools and other infrastructure projects, to buy condoms, pills, intra-uterine devices and other family planning supplies instead.

Why would Pia, Miriam and Bongbong prioritize family planning materials, drugs and supplies, instead of projects that would ensure economic activity which would enable poor Filipinos to have businesses and jobs that would, in turn, support them and their growing families?

Why not use the billions of government money that the RH bill will use for condoms and other family planning devices to put up livelihood programs that will make Filipinos earn more, so that, even if they will have more children, they would be able to support them just the same?

GOD KILLS THOSE WHO PREVENT THE PROCESS OF CREATION: Biblically, people who prevent the union of a man’s sperm with the egg of a woman to continue the process of creation are cursed by God. This is shown by the story of a man killed by God because he engaged in “withdrawal”—a family planning method, mind you—every time he had sex with his wife.

The story is taken from Genesis 38:6-10 of the Bible  and it involved a member of the family of Judah, one of the 12 children of Jacob, or Israel: “…Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the LORD’s sight; so the LORD put him to death.

“Then Judah said to Onan, `Sleep with your brother’s wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother.’ But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother.

“What he did was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death also…” This is what God will do to Filipinos, too, if we agree to the desire of Pia, Mirriam and Bongbong, to have the RH bill passed and made a law in our land.

“AND NOW, THE END IS NEAR…”: The news headlines are really frightening: “Five Colombian police dead in suspected rebel ambush”; “33 killed in fiery day across Iraq”; “50 charred skeletons found near Gadhafi military base”.

In fine, all of them tell of the infightings and wars that Jesus said, in Matthew 24:6-7, would be the signs of the coming end. The question is: are we justified in ignoring the signs and continuing with our lives as if we will be here forever? Please call me, 0917 984 24 68, for any comments about this.
