Last 26th of this month, I met Marines Col. Troy Narsici, having lunch at DVRL, together with his men. I went to say hello to him, because he was a fellow officer of my son in law Col. Leonard Vincent Teodoro (diseased) and they were neighbors at Camp Aguinaldo. I didn’t know that it was a goodbye lunch for him and his men I was glad they were gracious enough to allow me to take pictures with them.

I promised to attach the pictures in my column but sad coz it didn’t work out. However, am glad that the marines are back to provide security to our beloved City .Col. Narsici said the Marines are back in Cabatangan, San Roque, and mentioned to me about a problem, but didn’t elaborate. I told him that we Zanboangueños are happy to have them with us because we know the marine soldiers do their work well. During the ABS-CBN news, I was happy to see how the marines conducted the check points. This time, ID’s are important as you have to show it to them.

To our Zamboangueños, we should be more patient, no matter how long the line is AT CHECKPOINTS, because what they are doing is for the good of our City. We wouldn’t one to have another ZAMBO SIEGE, do we?
