TICKLE ME PINK

BY Betty A. Elago

When I decided to title my column “Tickle me Pink” it  was  because I want to make people happy, and write about all kinds of topics that will be interesting to my readers! Most of the time I write about my personal experiences that have taught me some lessons in life and which I think will be helpful to others! If there is a good thing about a person, I write it too, and I think It  will  tickle them pink!

However, If some issues I come across are important, I also write down my personal opinion. And I am aware that if those who are reading it, might not agree with me all the time! I can’t blame them because they have their own opinions too! We are living in a democratic country, and anybody can express their thoughts in many ways. Sometimes, I really would like to criticize some personalities, but my children would stop me…”no mommy, don’t do that, it’s bad for your health!”

Well, just like our cars with its brakes, we also have these  brakes, so my children act as my brakes. Anyway,  I know that there would come a time when I won’t allow them to do that to me  as  I am a frank person and there are matters that must be clarified especially things that needs clarification    I  don’t like hypocrisy, especially when done at my  back! It’s really going to shock some people, and it will tickle them red, the opposite of pink! But this isn’t the time yet. I am waiting for the next step and then it will be done.

Before closing, I would like to greet my good friend Edna Villarin a belated happy birthday!
