LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “… All Scripture is inspired by God, coming from His own breath…” (2 Timothy 3:16, The Sole Way Bible).

THE BIBLE AND TRILLANES’ SECURITY: The truth that cannot be denied is this: supporters of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV need not be bothered and need not be alarmed after the Philippine National Police (PNP) removed some of the police officers who were earlier assigned as his security escorts. When push comes to shove, so to speak, there are no policemen, no matter how great their numbers would be, who could stop a determined assassin.

What Trillanes and his supporters should instead do is faithfully seek God. Only God can give the needed security and protection that any man would require. What happens to us in this life that had been given us would be happening only if God allows them to happen, and there is nothing that can ever happen without Him previously permitting it to happen.

On account of this truth, I am earnestly proposing that Trillanes should endeavor to truly seek God, and ask for His blessings, guidance, and protection for him, at all times. The only problem here, of course, is, if Trillanes does not know the way to truly approach and seek God.

HOW CAN MAN SEEK AND APPROACH GOD? So, okay, what is the way to truly seek God? Many will say that one needed only to pray, and that would already compel God to act! But, with due respect, that is not totally accurate, and is even contrary to what the Bible teaches, more specifically on what Jesus, our God and Savior, commanded in Matthew 7:21.

Matthew 7:21 instructs that Jesus had said, not everyone who prays, and who says “My God, my God”, will be allowed to enter the kingdom in heaven, or will be answered in his prayers and supplications. Jesus imposed a special condition that would empower one to enter the kingdom of heaven and for his prayers to be granted.

What was the condition Jesus imposed? People who ask Him something need to do, to comply with, or to obey, the will of God the Father in heaven. What this means is that, the grant of one’s prayers and supplications does not depend on the prayer of the supplicant alone, but on his fulfillment of, or compliance with, or obedience to, the will of the Father. The question then is: what is the will of the Father in heaven?

THE WILL OF GOD CAN BE FOUND IN THE BIBLE ITSELF: To those who believe in God, I am sure they will understand that the will of the Father in heaven can be found in the Bible, which is His Word. Consequently, one who wanted to ask anything from God needed to read the Bible first, and then truthfully obey the commands written in its verses.

Is there proof that the Bible is the Word of God? According to the “Basic Doctrinal Teachings” of the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ Church (or AND KNK, Simbahang Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo, the Church that God put up in the Philippines to fulfill His end time work), it is clear from the Bible itself, in its many verses, that it is the Word of God.

The following are examples of the Bible verses that prove that it is the Word of God: 2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 1:16, and Hebrews 4:12. Second, many prophecies written in the Bible about God have already been fulfilled, in the time of the first believers, and even during our present time. All of these prove that the Bible is the true Word of God which everyone should read and obey.
