LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “… Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God...” (Romans 13:1, the Holy Bible).

BANKCRUPT GREECE, BANKRUPT WORLD AND RP: The Associated Press news from Greece, written by Don Melvin on November 4, 2011, is simply overwhelming: Because it is now unable to solve its financial troubles as a country, Greece will go bankrupt, and with Greece going bankrupt, the whole of Europe goes bankrupt immediately, too. With Europe going bankrupt, the whole world goes bankrupt right away.

With US similarly experiencing great economic troubles for herself which could also lead to its own bankruptcy, trouble looms big for the whole world, including the Philippines. This is going to trigger wars, famines, and greatly difficult lives, even for those who consider themselves rich and moneyed.

It is clear there is no man anywhere who can stop the world from plunging to its total destruction. No one, because this destruction requires much more than human action. It is a destruction promised by God, in the many pages of the Bible, for one simple reason: man is no longer listening to, nor obeying, Him. Proof of this? Read on!

THAILAND FLOODS HALT CAR PRODUCTION IN RP: Honda and Toyota are either stopping (for Honda) or downsizing (for Toyota) their operations in the Philippines, because of the on-going massive flooding in Thailand. Because of the floods, Honda and Toyota plants in Thailand can no longer produce the auto parts required for producing cars in the Philippines, thereby putting their Filipino employees in grave economic peril.

What is causing the Thailand floods? The scientific reason is, global warming and climate change. But, what is causing global warming and climate change? Again, the scientific and official reason is, man’s greed and apathy. But, we still have to grapple with the question, what is causing man’s greed and apathy?

It is man’s having turned his back on God, and having spurned His Word, and having refused to obey God’s commands as written in the Bible. Because man no longer listens to God and no longer obeys His command, he is headed straight ahead to total obliteration and destruction. Proof of this? Read on!

GOD’S CURSES TO DESTROY THE WORLD: In Deuteronomy 28:15-68 of the Bible, Moses listed 53 curses in all which, he said, will destroy nations who are no longer listening to God and who are no longer obeying His commands, with the promised destruction being total and absolute in effect.

A careful reading of the foregoing verses will show that about 51 or so of the 53 curses God gave His own people, the Israelites, through Moses, are now happening all around us, even in the Philippines. For those who will raise their eyebrows on this, just try reading Deuteronomy 28:15-68, and be shocked yourselves to find that God’s curses are now all over us.

Then, in Matthew 7:24-27 of the Bible, Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, warned those who are no longer listening to Him and who are no longer obeying His commands will be destroyed by rains, floods and strong winds. Surely, there is no denying the fact that the world is now being destroyed by rains, floods and strong winds, is it not?
