There is now an increasing demand for training and human developmental programs for organizations, whether government or private, nowadays. As a business consultant myself, I knew about this this will happen more than a decade ago when I took my master in organizational psychology at ADZU. Our professor, Dr. Lita Ortigas of AIM, predicted that there will be a time that organization will only hire and retain the most competent people with the advent of modern information technology.

Dr. Ortigas added that only those with effective inter/intra-personal skills have a better chance to be good leaders and be cooperative followers. The success of any organization depends really on how leaders and subordinates can work together harmoniously is today’s credo. Those who will not pivot (change) in their behaviors and attitudes will “perish” - a dreaded consequence to one’s career path.
.
The academe can also teach so much. The real world outside the four walls of educational institutions is different and more challenging. With the fast phases of a life, it is an advantage to study human behaviors and attitudes of the new generation and how the past generation associates with it. It leads to better perspectives and understanding for an individual, a group, and the organization they belong to.

To live a vibrant communal life, people must be willing to continuously learn and re-learn process in dealing with people and organization. This is why consultants and trainers in human resources and business are in demand because they have the knowledge and experiences in this field.  They can assess, guide and mentor management and staff of an organization in achieving its vision, mission, and objectives.

It is now happening. Even China are hiring HRD (Human Resources Development) and business consultants from USA, Europe, and around Asia as Chinese leaders realize that they need to learn and study human behaviors, cultures, and attitudes as it expands its territory worldwide. We can see that phenomenon already in mega-Tsinoy growing empires. The companies of Henry Sy, Lucio Tan, and John Gongkowei, to name three of them,  are heavily investing in their HRD department. They recruit and develop the best people for their industry that give them the result they want. They have admitted publicly that they could not have reaped the success by themselves only. They dreamed, and people worked under them to achieve it.

In reality, getting the services of Manila-based of HR and business consultants is a heavy investment. Aside from high professional fee engagement, one has to pay their plane fares and accommodations. This has created a gap and  the high cost hinders local government offices and private business sectors to avail such much needed services in developing human resources and learning  new approaches.

This gap, however, is now being filled up by NOTACOR Training Group which is managed by Chief Trainer Noel Tarrazona in coordination with other in-house and external consultant experts in different fields. This is a Zamboanga-based and a non-profit training consultancy that started years ago.  It is now recognized for its efficient and cost effective training programs by different government agencies and private business sectors.
