By Gems Party Kingdom (BGPK), Zamboanga City’s premiere party and event provider, awarded their 32 scholars at Cabaluay E-learning Center (elementary school) for 2014 with school supplies last June 16, 2014. Held at the school’s function hall, it was witnessed by some of the scholar’s parents and other teachers. Special guest was 2013 national outstanding Zamboanga policeman SPO1 Eduardo Covarrubias who also gives support to the scholars.

For 3 straight years, By Gems has been supporting scholars selected from indigent families. They are good students determined to finish their elementary years. School principal Loliza Laguna said the BGPK scholars are chosen thru screenings, interviews and background check to prove that they deserves to be the next scholars.  8 BGPK scholars have already graduated and are currently in high school, Laguna gleefully shared. She further added that 10 of the BGPK scholars are graduating next year.

The present 32 BGPK scholars are composed of elementary students from Grades 4 to 6. They were excited and grateful during the turn-over. They were blessed more when manager of Metro Grafix and good friend of By Gems, Ann Ebol, also shared her son’s old school books, toys, bags, and clothing for the scholars. Ebol was not able to join as her big bosses from Cebu are in town. Nevertheless, principal Laguna expressed their full gratitude to Ebol thru this column.

BGPK CEO Fred Covarrubias shared that BGPK is not just a company that creates a unique and perfect happiness in every occasion, they make it a point to share blessings to others especially those who are in need. BGPK also supports pediatric cancer patients of Zamboanga City Medical Center.
