Another milestone marks a new beginning for 1116 DXAS Far East Broadcasting Company family as they rejoiced their 45th anniversary last October 26 at the Sapphire Room of Grand Astoria Hotel. The station is moving to a bigger space at the center of our city to reach out  more and be nearer to their listeners.  The celebration was highlighted with the contract signing between DXAS-FEBC and Efren Wee, the owner of PHIDCO Building along Veterans Avenue where DXAS 1116 will be transferred before the year ends.  Different fellows, friends and guests from various local churches in this city witnessed in this happy occasion.

No other than the President and Managing Director of FEBC Philippines Dan Andrew Cura was the guest of honor during the celebration . He came all the way from Manila to join the celebration. During his message, Cura stressed the theme of the anniversary dubbed as "Partnership on Air, online and on the Ground" as the most important aspect in bridging the gap and bringing the word of God closer to the world be it on air, online or on the ground.
DXAS Station Manager Rev. Emmanuel Aquino in his speech said that it is through this medium by which it will serve as a linkage between the local service providers and the community where love and message goes together. Zamboanga Pastors Association  (ZPAS) president Rev. Ramon Tan delivered his message of challenge to potential local donors of DXAS for 2015.

To make the anniversary meaningful, a plaque of recognition was awarded to the past station manager of DXAS Rev. Jose Noman who have rendered his loyal service for 22 years for DXAS.. And to cheer up the guests, 45 radio sets were raffled off - same number of the radio station anniversary celebration.

More blessings for DXAS-FEBC whose clear vision is to communicate the love of God thru Christ to the world!
