To keep discovering wonders of nature of Asia’s Latin City, ZATERS (Zamboanga Adventure Tourism and Eco Recreation Society) explored the Siete Adanas Water Falls and at the same time had a fun water tubing (first time) at Barangay Victoria last Sunday June 19. It was a challenge because they have to trike a long mile and climb mountains but it was all the worth the efforts according to the 67 adventurers.

Despite the rough bus ride adventure going to the place, it was all gone when the group saw the majestic place - fresh mountain air and cool greenery sites aside from mysterious caves.

For the first time according to the local residents a big group went there to tour that gave them a brighter prospect to protect and love their place. ZATERS donated the 25 water tubes (costing P250 each) to the local leaders to help them generate income through adventure tourism. It came from the P300 contribution from each of the participants. It was also used to pay for the hired bus and entrance fee to the water falls. The formal turn over will be held this end of June or first week of July.

The group is grateful to the Lacuahero Outdoorshop for guiding them. This is the only complete outdoor supplier in this city.

ZATERS is recommending to local authority to develop the place as a potential tourism spots of our city. For the next adventure of ZATERS, contact the local Department of Tourism (DOT) or visit the ZATERS Facebook account for updates.
