The photo exhibit of the Photography With A Difference (PWD)-Zamboanga City in Garden Orchid Hotel last December 11 was a success. It was part of the Tzu Chi One Mega Fair fund raising event mobbed by people of all ages as early as 9am up to close midnight. A funny clown from Manila even flew in and entertained everybody.

The exhibit entitled “Let’s Fly A Kite” shown happy pictures of special children as they treated with fun, games, food and treats by Canon Philippines, Jollibee, Nestle, Globe and By Gems Party Kingdom held last September 25, 2011 at the Fort Pilar Museum ground.

Zamboanga City Mayor Celso Lobregat was the guest of honor who busted (“cut”) the colourful chain of balloons that signalled the opening of the exhibit. He was assisted by lovable and cute little boy Kevin. Kevin was the child who modelled for PWD-Zamboanga Sixto Kwan Jr.His picture was used as the mjoar poster picture during the PWD National Exhibit in Mall of Asia last December 2010.

The Mayor gamely wore a Smurf hat together with Tzu Chi-Mega organizer Dr. Anton Lim.

PWD is an organization of photographers/photography groups in Zamboanga City using their passion in photography to create and increase public awareness of different subjects and advocacies.  This gives more essence in what they love to do (taking pictures) – touching lives though photography.
