As a way to praise God and thank their faithful staff, By Gems Party Kingdom (BGPK) celebrated its 10th year anniversary of creating happiness last Feb. 2, 2012. The day started with an early morning Holy Mass at Sta. Maria Church and a thanksgiving breakfast at Jollibee Camins. It was followed by a street party at their main branch in Sta. Maria Gov. Ramos with a free magic show, free give-aways, photo shoots with their famous robot characters, face painting, discounted services, and sales of party items.

BGPK management also gave a plaque of appreciation award to Gemster (BGPK staff) Rio Lismis for being the longest employed staff of the company. BGPK Managing Director and Balloon Sculptor Gemma Covarrubias in her message said that By Gems started with one track of mind – make people happy. Together with her husband, Fred, they are doing this business beyond profit. They are always looking ways to satisfy not only the needs but also the wants of their customers. They make dream come true with happiness.

Today, BGPK is the leading balloon sculptor and decorator not only in Zamboanga City but throughout Western Mindanao. It has decorated several events in Basilan, Jolo, Tawi-Tawi, and opened a branch in Ipil, Sibugay last year. It had even travelled as far as Cagayan de Oro City for a wedding decoration. The business also expanded by offering party hosts, party give aways, mascots, clowns, magicians, face painting, Nestle ice cream, food and cotton candy carts as requested.

To share their blessings, BGPK have scholars for poor deserving students at Culianan Elementary School. They go also in different communities to give free joyful parties. BGPK is also active in supporting different charitable organizations and civic foundations by displaying balloons sculpture for free. They also conduct balloon seminar to help others become entrepreneurs like them.

Cheers to By Gems!
