Today Pep Talk will feature the key speakers of the 2012 Zampen ICT Conference and Trade Exhibit : An ICT Roadshow that will be held today at the Plaza Astoria of Grand Astoria Hotel. It is hosted by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and organized by the ICT (Information and Communication Technology)-Zamboanga City  and (RITECC Regional Information Technology and Electronic Commerce Committee). Different business sectors, academe institutions, government agencies, and the general public are invited to attend it find out more about this growing multi-dollar industry of the IT-BPO (Information Technology-Business Processing Outsource).

The Executive Directory for Deputy Executive Director for ICT Industry Development of the DOST (Department of Science & Technology) Alejandro Melchor will explain the ICT Industry and the Next Wave Cities in the Philippines. He is tasked with driving the growth of the ICT Industry and developing the skilled talent pool industry requires.

As the executive director for talent development at the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), Penny Bongato manages all talent-related initiatives for the industry, strategic implementation of competency development for academe and industry, as well as partnering with government and industry stakeholders for the growth and development of the talent pool. She will explain the all the critical factors to have an ample pool of human resources in this industry.
