It will be a moving grand homecoming today and tomorrow for Western Mindanao State University alumni. Active Alumni President Atty. Eduardo Sanson and Alumni Director Florence Alcazar together with alumni officers and board members are introducing new concepts in this year’s 93rd homecoming. The annual event with the theme, “Rekindling Yesterday’s Ideals in the Realities of Today for a Better Tomorrow,” will be more exciting, Atty. Sanson said. There is no registration to pay and exciting door prizes will be raffled off, he revealed.

The day will start with a welcome remark, the opening of the college exhibit, and blessing of the new multi-purpose court from the congressional fund of Cong. Beng Climaco-Salazar. And the night will recap with a grand fellowship night where talents will be showcase and top alumni will be recognized. It will be followed with fireworks and sky lanterns to shoo away bad lucks and to wish more blessings to the university,

Second day will be the alumni business meeting where there will be ratification in the alumni constitution to improve its organization. Evening will be testimonial dinner at Hacienda Palmeras  where the Silver Class of 1987,  the Pearl Jubilarians  of 1982, and the Golden Jubilarians of 1962 will be feted and honored.

Calling all WMSUans to come home and celebrate the joyful season with your Alma Mater!
