At last, there is a real local restaurant that Asia’s Latin City can really be proud of– the Don Vicente Restaurante Latino at Crispin Atilano St., Tetuan. This is the place where you can crave for real Italian, Mexican and Spanish cuisines that are at its finest and served in a homey yet posh environment. For years, we have been looking forward to dine too in a place where impeccable service is at its best. This is it!

Rich and succulent food, coupled with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere makes Don Vicente the latest fave of food trippers. Open for lunch and dinner, it serves delectable dishes of carne de res (beef), carne de cerdo (pork), mariscos (seafood), and pollo (chicken) personally prepared by Italian Chef Alessandro Lizio using authentic Italian ingredients from Italy. Their specialties include the Asadas Mexicana de Vaca or de Cerdo. Lenggua Italiano and Espaňa. They also have real Italian salads and pastas like boscaiola, bolognese, puttaneca, pesto, piatto dello chef, spaghetti, burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, gambao al ajillo, chicharones, cuban crunchy calamares, enchiladas, fajitas, and pizzas. Chef Lizio can create a specially-made serving if requested.

Don Vicente is a resto place where friends, families and couples can meet and have a great food. The interiors of the restaurant are remarkable as well as its well-appointed open space garden when one prefers for an al fresco ambiance. For private functions, Don Vicente has a cozy place where small parties, special occasions, or pocket meetings can be held.

As you go through the almost perfect menu, you will discover great tasting meals that are reasonably priced so you will not feel guilty at all about spending more to treat yourself and loved ones for a gastronomic delight while sipping real Italian wines. Compare to others, it stands out for its classy ambiance yet affordable dining place

So if ever you suddenly have an appetite for hearty cuisines in a breathtaking place, go to Don Vicente. It’s a place to be in Zamboanga City. I will bet that this restaurant is going to be a culinary icon for our city (wait for their copycats to spout soon).
