Cory Navarro – empowered woman of achievement PDF Print E-mail

Last December 22, 2012, my attention was caught while I was reading The Philippine Star column of business/society columnist Johnny Litton’s “Oh, Yes, It’s Johnny”. To quote him, he wrote:

“The most outstanding women of the country recently took center stage with the 2012 Empowered Women of the Philippines awarding ceremony held recently (December 17, 2012) at Teatrino in Promenade,  Greenhills, San Juan City. This fitting tribute to the innate beauty and achievements of the exceptional women also featured the latest collection of the very talented and innovative fashion designer Goullee Gorospe who made the ladies look even more radiant during the awards night”.

Lo and behold, one of the featured and honored ladies is Zamboanguena businesswoman Cory De Vera-Navarro. And to think there are many popular professional and astute businesswomen over there, she is able to stand on her own and is making her mark and presence felt. It is a feat that should encourage our local women to face challenges wherever she goes and to achieve whatever her dream is.

It was more than two years ago when Cory decided to expand her financial, export and manpower business (Kings Group of Companies) in Metro Manila. Her strong determination to succeed paid off rapidly as she has her own office today at the heart of Makati City. It caters to discriminating clients of reputable firms and corporations. She is a now also an active member of the Makati Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club International. A compassionate woman she has been actively been involved there in different charitable works like what she has been doing quietly here in our beloved Zamboanga City.

In a short period of time, she has been dealing with the right people already and continues to build the right business connections. Her willingness to learn and her attentiveness to details that includes her candidness to ask how and her straight forward attitude made it easier for her company to penetrate the snooty business of Makati City the business trade center of the Philippines.

Congrats and more blessing, Cory!
