Except for those allergic to it, everybody seems to love to eat chicken. And everywhere I go there is always chicken food. Chicken in the house, chicken in restaurant, chicken in parties, and chicken sandwich in meetings!  And I admit chicken is sometimes the least of the prefer food I like to dine when I am out.

But in my recent trip in Manila, I discover the World Chicken Restaurant and Foodstall where people are lining up long to order World Chicken special and they don’t seem to have enough of it.   This I found out: World Chicken serves lip-smacking, tasty and mouthwatering marinated grill chicken prepared in a unique way (not fried, less cholesterol and good for our health).  It is de-boned, not messy, easy and yummy to chew. You can chicken there everyday!

Unlike in most food outlets where chicken are often served cold and bland, World Chickens are served piping hot plus customers can have their choice of sidings, sauces, pasta or special cooked rice that goes with it. No wonder it is the number one outlet in terms of sales at the Foodcourt of Glorietta Mall in Makati City. And this is a fact, World Chicken can brag about. Outer World Chicken outlets (MOA, Trinoma, Greenhills, etc.) are picking up fast in sales too.

I was invited to witness the opening of World Chicken latest franchise outlet at the La Salle University Belt last February 2, 2013. It is managed by young entrepreneurs Zamboangueňos Neil John Makasiar and Camille Navarro in partnership with law student Klaire Esden.  But since I flew back to Zamboanga already, I missed it. Nevertheless, I am still writing about it so when Pep Talk readers go to Manila and see a World Chicken outlet they can try it out for themselves. And I hope someday World Chicken will open soon in our beloved city.
