We should all be proud of Tzu Chi Foundation-Zamboanga. In their 61st Tzu Medical and Surgical Mission,Tzu-Chi Jaipur Foot Camp, they are now able to make several young and old disabled people of General Santos City  walk again and live normal lives like the rest of us.  It would cost a fortune for these people to have new legs.

Thanks to the Free and Accepted Masons of the Phils-SOCSKSARGEN, South Cotabato Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and General Santos City Government, this was made possible. Kudos also to the volunteer doctors, technicians, and private individuals from our city who flew there before February 27 and will stay up to March 2, 2013 to conduct this noble humanitarian event.

It would cost thousands of pesos to buy prosthetic legs in Manila but with the technology developed and trained technicians of Tzu Chi Zamboanga at Zamboanga Medical Center, it is now easier to make sturdy replacement legs for indigent patients.

To all the donors and supporters of Tzu Chi-Zamboanga including those who are reading this column today, here are the pictures of joy, love, and dedications of Tzu-Chi Zamboanga!
