For every products and services that By Gem Party Kingdom’s customers pay, a portion of it goes to their scholars at Culianan Elementary School. It started 2 years ago with 10 student scholars but By Gems Management increased it to 30 this school years as a way to thank God for all its business blessings. The students chosen by the school are given free school supplies and other needs for their schooling (no tuition fee since it is a public school).

By Gems started more than a decade ago and introduced balloons as the main attraction of decorations in Zamboanga City. It was a challenge at first, according to By Gems Ballon Stylist Gemma Covarrubias, as people were used to using flowers. But unique and elaborate balloon designs of By Gems impressed their first set of customers and word of mouth spread fast about the splendor of balloon decorations. From birthday parties, By Gems is now making weddings, debuts, business openings, and other special events more distinct with balloons. It has also expanded its services by providing mascots, party hosts, and party goodies.

By Gems also credits event organizers, local video/photographers, bakeshops, hotels, and event venues for their recommendations.  By Gems created a niche for the balloon industry in this city.  From its main branch in Sta. Maria, it opened its first branch at Ipil, Sibugay and second branch in Grand Astoria Hotel.

Last year, in partnership with I Can Make A Difference, By Gems is sharing a portion of its profit to the pediatric cancer ward of Zamboanga Medical Center.
