MSU 2013 Job Fair brought hope and change PDF Print E-mail

Congratulations to the organizers for the success of the MSU (Mindanao State University) Tawi-Tawi 2013 Job Fair held at the Henry V. Kong Gym of MSU-Tawi Tawi Campus in Sanga-Sanga, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi last week August 23 and 24. It gave hope to the applicants numbering around 824 who applied in varied job available. And a change in the image of Tawi-Tawi as a peaceful and beautiful place of investment in this southern part of the Philippines.

Credit goes to MSU Chancellor Lorenzo Regellana Reyes for his all-out support, and to civic leader Samira Gutoc for her connections with government and private institutions. Gutoc was able to invite Ayala Corporation, Nurusalam, ARMM Regional Office, Development Bank of the Philippines, Unifrutti, ABS-CBN Zamboanga, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Department of Tourism, Department of Labor and Employment- ARMM, 94.1 Radyo Kasannangan, Amanah Islamic Bank, Philippine National Police PRO-ARMM, Zenar Telecoms, Synerteam Recruitment and Deployment Services, and the Philippine Military Academy. The event was coordinated by MSU Alumni Director Basil Sali.

Media partners who supported this event were Daily Zamboanga Times, ABS-CBN Zamboanga,, 94.1 Radyo Kasannangan, DXGD, Radyo ng Bayan, Power Myx, Manila Times, National Youth Commission website, and the Bureau of Public Information ARMM.

To all who helped and assisted in the success of the MSU Job Fair 2013, MSU Tawi-Tawi says Magsukol (Thank You),  and is optimistic that it will be a bigger job fair next year. This week MSU is celebrating its 52nd Foundation Day. Congrats MSUans! Have fun.
