Congratulations to the men and women of ABS-CBN Zamboanga TV Station for the 19th year celebration of Chavacano TV- Patrol (CTVP)!  A simple celebration of thanksgiving with meaningful activities of feeding, medical consultation, and gift giving were held at the station compound in San Jose last January 17, 2014.

"This is one way of giving back to the public their gratitude for the loyalty and untiring support to Chavacano TV Patrol and to ABS-CBN Zamboanga," Zamboanga Station Manager Soraida Edris-Infante said. I admire how Infante really has empowered her News Team to lead both in the dissemination of information and rendering public services. We get to know from Monday to Friday what is happening in our city and around the region, at the same, witness how they have been helping our communities in need.

The CTVP powerful news team is led News Team led by News Chief Melodee Joy Concepcion “Queenie Casimiro” with  reporters RJ Rosalado, Jewel Reyes, Leizel Lacastesantos, Dearly Laude and  Video Journalist Rex Arieta, Jovy Alcoran, Sonny Dagohoy , Ernie Infante, Paul Reales and Sim Romero, Chargen Operator Larry Velasquez and Technical Director Junie Dagoy. They continue to sustain the news operation and innovates Chavacano TV Patrol to catch up with time.  These fearless patrollers are on 24/7 reliable to keep the people up breast of what’s going on in the City and in the neighboring provinces.

CTVP is also well supported by the Engineering Team led by Eric Adalia;  Admin/finance Officer Jenny Woo; Sales Force led by Lulu Gerolaga, Weng Agudera, Bio Seng Rosner and Kristine Perez; Production Team led by Kelly Bernardo; and MOR Team led by Shamira Abdurajak as DJ Ella. 

The celebration medical mission was conducted by four (4) doctors from Zamboanga Medical Society and volunteer student nurses from Western Mindanao State University (WMSU). They were able to attend to more or less a hundred of adult and children patients. Aside from the medical check-up, free medicines and vitamins, water pale, dipper, a pair of shoes and slippers were given by our gracious CTVP patrollers. 

One hundred children of indigent families from 10 selected barangays were fed by the Team Kapamilya. MOR 98.7FM entertained the children with parlor games and prizes. The children went home with smile on their faces bringing with them biscuits, candies, toys and slippers.

This year the Zamboanga Team Kapamilya is renewing its commitment to continue to lead and be a strong player in the broadcasting industry and be a Service to the Pilipino people at all times.  The joy and fulfillment they achieved this year celebration is just a beginning of their journey to be a Service to the Filipino People.
