Kape Zambo managing owner Bambut Montano will be another wiser and prettier in her life today. She had an advance evening birthday celebration last Friday, January 31, at the cozy main branch of Kape Zambo in Canelar. It was timed with the Chinese New Year 2014.  Close family members and friends dropped by to greet this wonderful businesswoman. Bambut said she like to welcome the year with a thanksgiving to God and for more success to Kape Zambo.

Kape Zambo is the longest running and existing coffee shop in our city. When the trend of modern coffee shops started in mid-‘90s worldwide, Kape Zambo opens its first store in San Jose, Zamboanga City. It moved to its present location  (Canelar in front of metro bank and near Iglesia ni Cristo) as it is more accessible and convenient for their customers. It opened its second branch in Paseo del Mar with new business partners two years ago.

Beyond their popular coffee concoctions and desserts that goes with it, people flocked to Kape Zambo for breakfast, lunch, merienda, and dinner. The Paseo branch offers convenient food and drinks for Sta. Cruz Island picnic goers. And nothing beats Kape Zambo in this city when it comes to relaxing evening entertainment. The place have entertaining and smooth acoustic singers.

Lately, Kape Zambo has been offering healthy choices of food using the best ingredients found in the local market.  By doing so, Bambut said the prices of their menu will be more affordable. Kape Zambo, she adds, aims to create more popular home-cooked Filipino dishes with a touch of Zamboanga style of cooking and taste.

By the way, Bambut is an artist who likes to express her feelings in her art canvass. Some of them are displayed in the walls of Kape Zambo together with other art works of local artists.  She has been promoting the culture of arts by sponsoring art exhibits and workshops in Kape Zambo.

Pep Talk wishes her that God will give her the best of what life can give.
