Businesswoman Mercy Tan knows what a life a woman should live – live to the fullest while fulfilling her role as a loving wife to Jung-Jung Tan and caring mother to her children. When she turned a year older last March 27 and before she reaches her golden age, she was given a surprise asalto by her daughters (Grethel Tan, Glae Tan-Lu, Estee Grace Tan-Mariano and son ( Gabriel Lauriaga Tan) to show how proud they are of her.

It was also the graduation party of Mercy’s daughter, Early Grethel Lauriaga Tan, who graduated from college, BS Business Administration, at Ateneo de Zamboanga University. This is how Grethel praised Mercy in her Facebook Account. “My mom (Mercy), who still looks young. My mom, who loves belly dancing and ballroom dancing so much. My mom, who can't sleep at night if we aren't still at home. My mom, who loves to dress a lot like me.  My mom, who always lends us everything what we want. My mom, who is so generous. My mom, who is very down to earth. My mom, who is very friendly, pilya at time  and very maingay (May pinagmanahan, ahahaha). My mom, my mom, my mom. Yes! She is my mom!  Ang daming pwedeng i-describe sa kanya because she's so nice in and out. Promise!

Before this day would end, let me first greet our sexiest and prettiest mom HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY MAMA!  Though I'm not that expressive at times, I just want you to know that I love you so much! That I'm so lucky to have a Mom like you. Yes, you are irreplaceable.
Thank you for spoiling us (kidding!), for the love and support. This is what really unconditional love is. I really do believe in the saying "MOTHERS KNOW BEST" because they are the best!  Sooo? Next year, Ma? ASAP themed party for your 50th Birthday!  You will always be the best mom ever! I love you so much! Happy 49th Birthday again, Ma. We love you! Muuaahhh!” Cograts, Grethel, you made your Mom proud.

Advance Happy Golden Birthday, Mercy! You’re one of my happiest friends. God bless and protect you and your family always.
