One of Zamboanga City’s distinguished women, Pilar Molina, just celebrated her 65th birthday at Terra Cota, Tumaga, last November 25 with close family members and friends. They came and greeted on her natal day and had a grand time singing and dancing.

Pilar, who used to be the Girl Friday of the late Congresswoman/Mayor Maria Clara Lobregat,  also marked her retirement from her present job at the social services of City Hall. She said she has now more free time to enjoy with her friends and do more in the service of God.

Pilar is also an active community and a religious leader being the current president of the Mother Butler Mission Guild (MBMG) of Zamboanga City. Selected MBMG members presented a special number which they did also during the MBMG National Convention in Ilocos Norte recently. The MBMG dancers included Lorraine Pinga, Anna Marie Ledesma, Grace Gonzales, Basing Somogod, Tessie Estacio, Mary Lactuan, Maridel Gapoy, Shirley Evangelista, and Marjorie Asis.

Her other guests included Vita Murga, Malou Enriquez, Del Buendia, Mary Usman, and Maritess Go. Also present were new member Dr. Mila Fernandez and her Sunday Club led by Moning Ledesma, and Josie Bautista. A Hawaiian dance number was performed by Sonia Noel, Nancy Rodriquez, and Lina Almonte.  The party was emceed by Brenny Binggay.

To Pilar, who will be starting a new chapter in her life, we wish you good health and long life of continuous happiness.
