Even if you haven’t watched the first two adventure musical show, “Sail On…the Shindig Tour,” you will still enjoy its third story that will be played today, 2pm-5pm, at the Zamboanga City Coliseum in Tetuan, Zamboanga City. It’s the 21st stage broadway presentation of an interfaith inspirational benefit marathon and dance tour being held in key cities of our country by Hypernova Production Society Inc.

The production aims to raise the society’s awareness about spiritual, moral and social issues affecting the family and the community like contrasting beliefs, the power of angels, RH bill, incest, sexual orientation, drugs, alcohol addictions, etc. The sequel revolves on how the Hypernova sailors will defend the ancient sacred scroll against Prince Magnus and her green ladies. It is a story of hope, faith and revenge with a triumph battle of good over evil. An added attraction is an interschool inspirational dance competition.

The show producer and director, Dr. Bob Aquino, explained that the musical stage play will relate to the audience the pressing social issues today and how the young generation can face the tough challenges of growing up in this kind of environment. With all the problems facing the young people today, Dr. Aquino said, they may end up frustrated emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Those who are sailing with Jesus need to introduce the true companionship to others, those who are far from this fellowship need to remember that He is waiting for you to sail on together, Dr. Aquino added. The show, he said, will bring out the spiritual awareness and enlightenment to the youth. The production can help our nation be better when people stand against corruption and immoral issues while making God as the center of one’s strong faith.

Aside from local actors, the special Zamboanga shindig will have the special participation of Zamboanga’s multi-awardee singer/composer Titang Jaldon, the Chordz & Lyrics Band, local designers Federico Navarro, Angking Francisco, Al-Shammer, Elmer Julian, Usni Sali, and Neri Jaruda. It is being supported also by the Zamboanga City Government, Aguman de Capampangan Zamboanga Chapter, Universidad de Zamboanga, and Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School.

Affordable tickets are priced at P40, P70, and P100 only. Text or call 0927-7942120 for reservation.
