56 years of high school friendships PDF Print E-mail

I am mighty proud that my defunct ZAEC High School batch of ‘56 continues to contact each other and meet once in a while after our golden reunion last October 8, 2006. As they say nothing beats high school friends. It is the time of your life you outgrow your childish ways, discover yourself more, build lasting friendships, and have crushes or experience first love.

Today we update each other about our family, health and what’s happening around. We don’t talk much about politics. We ask about our families, spouses, children, grandchildren and feel sad if we learn that someone in our batch passes away.

On November 18, 2012, we are going to meet again at the residence of our president Meldy Araňez-Sator at Gov. Ramos, Sta. Maria. And if it happens that one of your family members is in our batch, please inform him or her to join us and contact 984-0600 (my residence), 991-2058 (Ganding Bello), and 991-1116 (Aida Luistro).

Oh, boy, I tell you it will make him or her feel great again. No matter what is our status in life now, nothing beats getting reacquainted with high school classmates and friends when you’re in your prime age.

May God continue to bless us with good health and happy life. I thank Him for the 56 years of my high school friendships and still counting.
