Man shot, hurt in Buenavista PDF Print E-mail

A 61-year-old man was shot and wounded in Km. 57, Buenavista early yesterday morning.

Wounded was Rolando Sitoy y Macas, single. He sustained a bullet wound in the right shoulder and was taken to the Quiniput Hospital for treatment.

A sketchy police report disclosed that Sitoy was shot around 4:30 a.m.

No other details were available as of this writing.

Meanwhile, police have forwarded to the city prosecutor office a case of frustrated murder against six persons who were linked to the gun attack along Gov. Camins Avenue that wounded a young man last week.

Police identified the suspects as Nurhussein Ututalum y Tiamwat, Nurkhan Matarul, Ryan Ladja, Alizar Ali, Waleed Hassan and Earvin Bon Flores.

A police report disclosed that one of the suspects shot and wounded Khadnizar Muksan y Abdulgafur around 1:30 a.m. last March 2.

Police said the suspects will be arrested as soon as the case will be raffled off in court and a warrant of arrest will be issued.
