Acting City Police Director Sr. Supt. Supt. Angelito Casimiro on Saturday initiated a dialogue cum briefing among high school students of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.

Speaking first with mostly high school students and members of their faculty at the Ateneo covered court in Barangay Tumaga, Casimiro, thru Supt. Ruperto De Guia Salazar, Deputy  City Director for Administration, Sr. Insp. Rolly Joaquino, Chief Operations Branch and Sr. Insp. Jezrill Kinang, Acting Chief PCRB, lectured the  students on the functions of different government agencies and their individual rights as citizens of this country.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company and the Department of Education.

On the same day, Casimiro was also the invited guest and speaker during the Zamboanga Bankers Association meeting held at the Aristocrat Luncheonette at Gov. Camins, this city.

Casimiro gave out suggestion and advices on how to further improve security in financial institutions such as banks and lending firms and how to stay safe from criminal elements.

He also assured the banking community of the  support from the police and promised to implement more measures to maintain peace and stability in the city vital for the business climate to thrive.

Casimiro spoke to more or less 15 bank managers from the different banks doing business in this city headed by their association president Ruby Ann S. Bagalando on the thrust and operational accomplishments of the Zamboanga City Police Office as well as updates concerning the peace and order in Zamboanga City. – Dan Toribio Jr.
