A jobless man and a teenager were arrested by barangay officials of Pasobolong after they were caught selling shabu Friday night.

Nabbed were Renato Gueta y Fernando, 42, and John Rudy Villablanca y Eijansantos, 17, a student. Both are residents of Estrada Street, Tetuan. They were taken to the Culianan Police Station by Pasobolong barangay officials led by Christopher Miguel.

A police report disclosed that Gueta and Villablanca were nabbed after they were caught selling shabu at the entrance road leading to Pasobolong proper.

Seized from Gueta’s possession were a heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, a wallet containing BIR identification card, postal ID, ATM card, play money, and a cell phone.

Confiscated from Villablanca’s possession was a Samsung cell phone, Western Mindanao Command control tag ID under the name of Rodolfo Villablanca, an enlisted man of the Philippine Air Force and a Skygo motorcycle.

Miguel told the police that they noticed Villablanca about to hand over a sachet of shabu to an unidentified man that prompted them to arrest him.

However, Villablanca was later released after they failed to establish conspiracy with Gueta.

Gueta was detained at the Culianan Police Station while the seized item was forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination. – Dan Toribio Jr.
