The  9th Maritime Group is now recruiting young  graduates who are qualified to join the Philippine National Police  Maritime Group.

Sr. Supt. Rollen D. Ariño, chief, 9th MGU,  advised applicants to bring their application papers at his office in Baliwasan Seaside beside the Zamboanga City State Polytechnic College.

Applicants must be a Filipino Citizen at birth, college graduate with eligibility from the Civil Service Commission, National Police Commission or from Professional  Regulation Commssion, birth certificate authenticated by the National Statistic Office, Transcript of Records and Diploma, Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the College or University where they graduated, barangay clearance, police clearance, National Bureau of Investigation clearance, Mayor’s clearance, Prosecutor’s clearance, Municipal and Regional Trial Court clearance, age from 21 to 30 years old and others.

Applicants who pass the agility and final board interviews will undergo rigid training in Luzon for six months. They must be mentally and physically fit and know how to swim in deep water. —  Allen Abastillas
