2 bike thieves held in Basilan PDF Print E-mail

Two  suspected motorcycle thieves were nabbed and detained at the Basilan  Police Provincial  Command.

Highway Patrol Group 9  Operation Officer Inspector Mervin Claret disclosed  that the two suspects were held by Army  soldiers manning a checkpoint in Barangay Sapa Bulak in the municipality of  Sumisip last March 20.

O. P. Ensanul and M. L. Maalim, both from Sumisip, were apprehended by Army soldiers led by 1Lt. Jessie T. Mirabueno  of Bravo Company of the 64th Battalion.

The two suspects  could not produce documents of ownership. for a Honda CFT 125 MRCA motorcycle with no plate plate number in their possession.

The soldiers immediately held the duo and informed  Senior Inspector Nelson B. Mandiwo of the incident.

Thereafter, Mandiwo brought the two suspects to the Basilan Police Provincial Office  where they were detained.

After the result of the investigation by the police, it was found out the Honda motorcycle is under local alarm in Basilan. It is owned by a certain  T.R. Mansur of Tipo-Tipo.

After completing the result of the investigation and the macro etching examination, the police  turned over the motorcycle to the HPG9 Basilan Office for recording.
