WMSU to hold 69th graduation ceremony PDF Print E-mail

Western Mindanao State University will hold its 69th Graduation Ceremony on April 4 and 5 at the WMSU Gym with ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics) Director General Dr. William D. Dar as the guest speaker.

The theme of this year’s Commencement Exercises is “WMSU @ 110: Soaring to Greater Heights for Academic Excellence.” University officials including the University President-Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho, faculty and members of the Board of Regents will grace the event.

To lead the graduating class of 2014 is College of Nursing’s Magna Cum Laude—Samirah Dhania S. Taupan, valedictorian.

The first batch of the Commencement Exercises on Friday, April 4, will include the candidates for graduation from the College of Law, College of Agriculture, College of Communications and Humanities, College of Social Sciences, College of Forestry and Environmental Studies, College of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports, College of Criminal Justice Education and College of Nursing.

For the second batch, to wit are the colleges scheduled to march on Saturday, April 5: College of Public Administration and Development Studies, College of Architecture, College of Engineering and Technology, College of Home Economics, College of Science and Mathematics, College of Teacher Education, College of Social Work and Community Development and College of Asian and Islamic Studies.

Prior to the Graduation Ceremony, the University conducted its University-wide Recognition Day on April 2 at the WMSU Gym where the guest speaker was Vice Mayor Cesar Ituralde. — AJ Dalugdug – PAO, WMSU
