3 ‘salvaged’ men found in Talabaan PDF Print E-mail

Three dead men, believed to have been “salvaged” (summarily executed), were found in an irrigation canal of a ricefield at Sitio Gapuh, Barangay Talabaan yesterday morning.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Ediwn Deocampo said Culianan policemen led by Chief Insp. Rocky Laungayan rushed to the place after receiving a report from a former Talabaan barangay official about the three bodies.

Policemen found the three bodies about two feet away from each other.
Investigators said that mostly likely the dead men were picked up elsewhere and were brought to Gapuh where they were executed.

The victims sustained multiple stab wounds in the different parts of the body. They were hogtied and their faces wrapped with packaging adhesive tape.

Investigators also took not of the blood stains at the crime scene indicating that the victims were killed thereat.

The bodies were taken to the Villa Funeral Parlor for post mortem examination. — Dan Toribio Jr.
