The Police Regional Office-9  has announced the attrition recruitment program for Police Officer 1.
A total of 347 vacant slots are waiting for qualified applicants for the calendar year 2011.

The processing, screening and selection of the best qualified applicants shall be undertaken by the PRO-9 screening committee.

Those ranked within the quota allocated based on the applicant’s eligibility rating shall be the first priority in the processing of recruitment.

There will be a continuous processing of applicants in replacement for those who will fail in each stage to fill up the vacancies of quota by the next applicant in ranking.

The 347 quota is distributed as follows: 40 for Zamboanga City and  7 for Isabela City, while the 116 will be distributed in Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office, 106 for Zamboanga Sibugay and 78 for Zamboanga Sibugay.

The doctrine of transparency shall be observed in all the stages of the recruitment process to preclude anomalies, illegal acts, biases and favoritism.

Applicants must be thoroughly appraised of the guidelines and procedure of the recruitment process.

The regional screening committee shall strictly abide with the “sequential step” in the processing of applicants. Only those applicants who passed the previous stage shall be allowed to proceed to the next stage.

The secretariat of the screening committee shall publish and post in conspicuous areas the results in every stage, which shall include the passers, non passer and the reason of failure.

The PRO-9 screening committee through their respective secretariats shall officially endorse to the next step those applicants who passed in the previous stage.
