Carbon inducted member of IBP Zambasulta chapter PDF Print E-mail

Regional Trial Court Branch 16 Judge Jesus C. Carbon Jr. was inducted yesterday as new member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines  Zamboanga-Basilan-Sulu-Tawi-Tawi Chapter.    He was inducted by outgoing President Florencio M. Liong Jr.

Judge Carbon was a member of the IBP South Cotabato Sarangani General Santos City (SOCSARGEN) chapter before joining IBP ZAMBASULTA Chapter.

Carbon graduated Bachelor of Laws at the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City in 1963. He passed the bar examination on March 1964. His previous positions before he became Executive Judge were: Special Counsel, Office of the Provincial Fiscal in South Cotabato from 1968 to 1969; 3rd Assistant City Fiscal of General Santos City from 1969 to 1980; Special Prosecutor, Office of the Tanodbayan (Ombudsman Manila )from 1980 to 1983; Executive Judge of Zamboanga City from 1987 to 1988, 1991 to 1992 and  1995 to 1996. 

At present, Carbon is the Executive Judge of  Regional Trial Court Branch 16 of the 9th Judicial Region.
Meanwhile, Atty. Liong will lead a contingent of lawyers from IBP ZAMBASULTA Chapter to the 13th  IBP National Convention of Lawyers on April 7-9,2011 at the Subic Bay Exbihition and Convention Center. — Allen Abastillas
