Ten people were injured when a passenger bus collided with an improvised motorized tricycle in Barangay Sinubong in the west coast Sunday morning.

Police identified those injured as Edwin Pedoche y Lapis, (driver of the tricycle), his passengers — Rodelyn, Rainer, Orville, Carmen and Joy (all with no surname available), Al Gorit y Bernardo, V-Joy Olarte, John Rouel Victoriano and Joan Victoriano, all residents of Ayala.

A police report disclosed that Pedoche was driving the 3-wheel vehicle with the nine passengers aboard passing the highway of Sinubong when it accidentally collided with a the D’ Biel Transit bus driven by Raul Serra y Estrella, 48, married, of Sinubong.

Serra was detained at the Labuan Police Station while both vehicles were impounded as investigation was still on going.

Police said all the victims were in stable condition and were confined for further treatment.
