Five teenagers were injured when the Suzuki SUV they were riding slammed a concrete barrier along Lobregat Highway in Culianan last Thursday afternoon.

A police report disclosed that the Suzuki was negotiating the highway eastward with Dela Cerna drinking a cup of coffee while driving.

Police said Dela Cerna lost control of the steering wheel after the cup of coffee spilled sending the vehicle crashing on the concrete barrier.

The vehicle was damaged due to the impact of the crash. It was temporarily kept at the Culianan Police Station.
